From the Scott School Public Announcement System:
Dear Scott Staff and Families,
You are invited to attend a community meeting about the selection of next school year’s principal. We want to hear your ideas and answer your questions. This school year Gina Roletto is an interim principal. Join us Thursday, December 7th, from 6 to 7 pm at Scott School. The goal of the meeting is to hear about the leadership qualities you would like to see in your principal. We’d also like to hear about your unique school community. We look forward to seeing Scott staff and families, Thursday, December 7th, from 6 to 7 pm for a discussion about hiring next year’s principal. If you can’t attend the meeting, on-line and paper surveys will also be available.

Please help support your school’s parent-teacher organization by attending tonight’s meeting from 6pm-8pm in the library at Scott Elementary. We hope to see you there!
The Scott School PTA is gearing up for our annual SUN fundraiser, Kermes, which will be held May 6, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at 6700 NE Prescott Ave. Get ready for a bouncy house, face painting, food and performances from around the world, community resource booths, a raffle, and more!
We still could use volunteers to help make it happen. Please consider donating your time to a great cause. You’ll earn a free raffle ticket, and will be treated to a free meal if you sign up for more than one volunteering opportunity! THANK YOU in advance!
Several times a year, Scott School makes donated clothing available to the school community free of charge at our Scott School Clothing Fairs. There is only one more week to sign up to volunteer for the upcoming Fair on March 14th:
March 14, 2016
9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Please consider helping out, as this is a resource run by volunteers. Lack of volunteers will limit our ability to serve our community, and Scott students do use the PTA Clothing Closet frequently.
