WANT TO SKI WITH THE GRANT/CLEVELAND/MADISON SKI TEAM?

Is your 8th grader a skier? If so, the Grant/Cleveland/Madison High School ski team is a great opportunity to improve their skiing, enjoy spending time with other like-minded kids, and promote responsibility, discipline, and dedication. High school students from Grant, Cleveland, Madison or other high schools or private schools on the east side of Portland are eligible to ski on the team. 8th graders from the same area are also eligible to get a jump start by training with the team once a week during racing season, watching our races and attending other team events. The team is open to all levels of skiers and has a strong tradition of supporting every member regardless of competitive placement. If you and your student are interested in learning about the team, please attend an informational meeting on October 14th at 7 p.m. at Madison HS. If your student decides to join the team, a second meeting will be held on October 16 at the Grant High School Library for that purpose. For more details, please contact Coach Randy Hewitt atGrantskiteam@gmail.com. or 503-804-3838. You can also check out the team’s website or visit the team’s Facebook page.
